This Privacy Policy describes how TradeMate - Site Client Job (“the App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application and related services.
By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who we are

2.1 Account and authentication
- Email address and display name when you create an account or sign in (including via third-party sign-in where supported).
- Authentication identifiers managed by our identity provider (e.g. Firebase Authentication).
2.2 Data you enter in the App
The App is designed for trade and compliance record-keeping. You may store:
- Client and job information (e.g. names, addresses, job details, dates, notes).
- Checklist and inspection data (e.g. pass/fail, comments).
- Photos and documents attached to jobs (e.g. evidence photos, receipts).
- Signatures where you use sign-off features.
- Team and invite information if you use team features (e.g. invited email addresses, roles).
- Reminders linked to clients (e.g. titles, due dates, recurrence).
- Company profile (e.g. business name, contact details, company logo image you upload).
- Invoice data if you use invoicing (e.g. line items, amounts, notes).
2.3 Device and technical data
- Device type and operating system (as needed for the App to function).
- Diagnostic and crash-related data may be collected by our analytics or crash-reporting tools if enabled in your build.
2.4 Purchases
If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play:
- Purchase status and subscription entitlements are processed by Apple/Google and, where we use a subscription service (e.g. RevenueCat), by that provider according to their terms and privacy policy.
We use the information above to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the App (including offline use and sync).
- Authenticate you and secure your account.
- Sync your data across your devices when you are signed in.
- Enable team features (e.g. job assignment, invites) where applicable.
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases.
- Respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Where data is stored and processed
- On your device: Data may be stored locally (e.g. in an on-device database) for offline access.
- In the cloud: When you use sync or sign-in, data may be stored and processed using services such as:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage for file uploads), regions and subprocessors as described in Google’s documentation.
- Subscription services: e.g. RevenueCat for in-app purchase and entitlement management.
The exact providers and regions depend on your app configuration. Data may be processed in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area / United States as required by our infrastructure.
We may share information only as needed:
- Service providers who help us run the App (hosting, authentication, storage, subscriptions, email), under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
- Apple / Google for App Store / Play billing and account rules.
- Legal and safety: Where required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Data retention
- We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the App.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability.
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. in the UK, the ICO).

8. Children
The App is not intended for children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
If your data is processed outside your country, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) where required by law.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
